The presence of prominent artists in different areas of reference of the city and the world, allows not only to acknowledge the great cultural value that the artist states in his work, but also Le CITY deluxe is making it their formidable project, with its great artistic abilities and to accompany every stroke and every touch of his work.

That is why Le CITY deluxe offers its full support to Alfredo Palmero, painter of portraits of His Majesty King Juan Carlos I of Spain and other European monarchies, in his upcoming exhibition at the Gallery by the Harbour of Hong Kong which will be placed from 14 to 27 September.

This time, Palmero reveal his collection "Meninas and Harlequins," a series of 23 paintings of different sizes composed Meninas, Harlequins and a small collection of women tellers. Las Meninas, representing women and nature. The Harlequins are a symbolic representation made by the artist himself. In all these characters, the force that is emerging shows is the emotions of the viewer.

Often, Palmero is defined as a contemporary figurative painter capable of enhancing the artistic expression contains the energy of nature. The strength of color and the sensitivity of its stroke allowing his paintings to be considered as great artistic pleasure. The precision of his brushstrokes makes the work full of realism.

Presentation is the Consulate General of Spain in Hong Kong and the work will be curated by Sofia Gaspar. Le CITY deluxe is media partner of the event.

This exhibition will further expand the international presence of the artist and continues with a successful path that began last June in Doha, Qatar. After passing through Hong Kong, Palmero be shipped to Kuwait and Peru.

About the Artist: Alfredo Palmero is known for his portraits of His Majesty King Don Juan Carlos and his son, Prince Felipe. His works are collected by the Spanish Royal Family, the House of Alba Foundation by former president Juan Antonio Samaranch of the International Olympic Committee and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Castilla La Mancha, among others.
