AdiALESSI Latest Additions Spring Summer 2010, Glamour in the Kitchen
Gourmet 19/02/2010
While kitchen utensils are ever more sophisticated and glamorous, functionality remains intact. These are some of the characteristics AdiALESSI has instilled into the new additions that comprise their latest Spring-Summer 2010 collection.
Collections abound. Let us begin with the Girotondo collection, which features six new finishes infused with pure pigments to produce a "liquid" colour effect, deep and defined. They adapt to contemporary domestic landscapes, yet come complete with a flash of colour that unshackles them from pre-existing norms, a veritable pop-art creation if you will.
The Zlin cutlery collection is elegant and svelte, fit for any dinner date in which you wish to add a slightly less conventional twist. These diminutive utensils, fresh and poetic, would bear well in a head-to-head with the sophisticated table settings typical of the classic bourgeois tradition.
The Adagio model is a thermo, insulated jug with a double-wall stainless steel body and lid. The project was developed by Kristiina Lassus as a continuation of her "401" coffee and tea set (2008). It was designed to meet all the functional requirements of the hotel industry, yet thanks to its domestic form, it also ideal for private use.
"123dl" is a set of three glasses intended for all manner of uses: drinking/toasting, measuring/cooking, stacking/storing. Its creator set about producing a universal collection that could satisfy the multiple needs of daily life, such as, for example, having a snack, savouring an espresso coffee, a cappuccino or a cup of tea.
