The CSIO Barcelona presents its hundredth edition

The "Salo de Cent" of Barcelona City Council has seen the presentation of the CSIO Barcelona in its 100 edition, a reference competitions calendar this year in Barcelona and becomes the oldest sporting event in Spain.

From 22 to September 25th Barcelona will become the world capital of racing with the celebration of the 100th International Jumping Competition. Framed in the Fiestas de la Mercè, the CSIO Barcelona will, for the third consecutive year, the scene of the FEI Nations Cup Final Promotional League, bringing together eight national teams, including Spain.

The Real Club de Polo de Barcelona will feature the world's equestrian elite. An attractive program of competition with twelve tests, among which theCiutat de Barcelona Grand Prix, the HM Queen Cup - Trofeo Longines and the FEI Nations Cup Promotional League Final. Four intense days of riding with the best horsemen and women of the moment.

Daniel Garcia turned, the director of CSIO Barcelona is very proud of the CSIO Barcelona part in this centennial edition of the Festival de la Mercé. It also emphasized the broad international participation, with a total of twenty-two nations, nearly 180 horses and 75 riders. Turned further explained that the competition includes the third consecutive year the Grand Final of the FEI World Cup Promotional League Nations in Canada, Spain, Italy, Poland, Russia, Sweden and Ukrania be played their place in the league.
