With the arrival of spring, lengthy, sun-filled days and seemingly endless beach afternoons, the seaside terrace season is upon us. And the CDLC in Port Olímpic will once again become the hippest day-time and night-time spot for these upcoming months.
The location was refurbished just over a year ago, whilst respecting the idea's original spirit: a site that breathes environmental and ethnic harmony, where majestic buddhas greet guests and all manner of oriental figurines adorn its interior. Via meticulously cared for furnishings, this locale whisks guests away to Morocco, Bali and India. Low tables, candles, photographs and lamps afford sensitivity, nature and a sensory journey through all that comprises the locale.
Its restaurant boasts one of the most unique and diverse menus in Barcelona, given that it combines Arabic and Asian dishes, Moroccan and Indian aromas, with traditional Mediterranean cooking. It features a 120 piece sushi selection and delicious hummus and falafel, among a whole host of other exquisite delicacies. For many, an evening spent savouring their cuisine, whilst bathed in candle light on a cool summer night, represents a luxury and a pleasure mere minutes from the city centre.
