Ela Paproska Presents Company in the Centro Porsche Barcelona
Society 16/03/2010
The luxury cosmetics company ELA PAPROSKA has taken on the challenge of breaking into both national and international markets from its headquarters in Barcelona. The company's presentation was held in the Centro Porsche Barcelona, with room for some 300 guests, Porsche clients, ambassadors and consulates.
Jordi Carbonell, Deputy Director of Industrial Policy for the Generalitat, attended in the name of Industry and Innovation Councillor Joan Huguet, who confirmed that "the presentation of a new company indicates trust. It's an announcement that brings great joy. Catalonia is not de-industrialising, and we have to view what's happening today as a positive experience. Expectations are leading us towards a new industry powering Catalonia, with all services included in a new industrial policy law aimed at creating productive structures. After studying the booming growth of certain companies, we have realised that the key to success rests upon three pillars: technological effort, leverage from financial investments and occupation generated in the companies. Quality is the engine behind innovation, and here in the Government, we hope to transform Catalonia's growing industry".
Luxury cosmetics, from Barcelona to the world
The presentation was also attended by Polish-born Ela Paproska herself, who suffered severe face burns while training at the highest level of skiing as an adolescent. It took the wound seven years to scar over, until, finally, an American scientist came up with the magic formula. From that point forth, Ela has sought to make her dreams a reality, eventually coming true in the city of Barcelona with distribution among Julia perfumeries. These products, created with water extracted from the Dead Sea, hydro-composite and active ingredients, prove very beneficial for mature skin, with prices ranging from €150 to €510.
