Vietnam:
Vietnam is known for its fascinating architecture, natural beauty and colorful people. In this landscapes mountainous setting, unexplored by tourists, Six Senses has erected two resorts. On the largest island of the Con Son archipelago, Six Senses Con Dao is located in the south-eastern part of Vietnam, which was initially colonized by the British East India Company in 1702. The resort has 51 villas with “infinity” pools, all of which were constructed with wood and placed strategically in the natural slope of the dunes with the purpose of enjoying the fantastic views of the ocean. In Six Senses Con Dao one can expect to live in the most traditional manner of Vietnam, because the resort was recreated as a rural Vietnamese village, where it is possible to walk along its principal street, sit down in a typical square and buy in the village’s very own market.
The second resort in Vietnam is located in Ninh Van’s amazing bay, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay. At the resort, hidden away from any tourist agglomeration, it can only be accessed by sea. Yao Noi’s island, located between Phuket and Krabi, is hidden in the high and sharp limestone rocks of Phang Nga. It is between these spectacular views that Six Senses Yao Noi emerged. This resort contains 56 villas, all of which were exclusively designed, with a refreshing sensation of calmness that envelops the guest, whether in the pool with its two sunken bars or anywhere, the customer will be engaged in the nature and vegetation of Thailand.
