After the undeniable success of last year’s festivities, the Polo Masters of St. Tropez Gassin will celebrate their 25th anniversary at the Domaine viticole du Bourrian with their partner Le CITY deluxe on July 27-28th. The event commemorates 25 years ago when jean-Yves Delfosse began the development of the game and created the first Polo tournament at this famous location in the heart of St. Tropez.
The peninsula will celebrate its 25 years with an England polo themed party alongside BMW. Four teams from all over Europe, with more than 80 horses, will play on a Polo field illuminated by floodlights battling to win the General Allard Trophy. In celebration of the matches the players will get off their horses and get ready for the Polo Night Party.
Both days will include the Polo village opening, equestrian spectacles and animations, followed by The Polo Apèros. Friday will hold the qualification matches while the evening certainly has something to look forward to. The Polo Night Live Party Friday evening will impress with a performance by the dynamic duo of Maartje and Philippe Belfort. Saturday will host the excitement of both the semi-finals and finals, followed by the award ceremony. The event will go out with a bang on Saturday evening with both style and exuberance. The Polo Night Party presents the exceptional “Folie Douce” to dance the night away. DJ, singers and musicians will set the dance floor on fire until late in the evening.
Remember that the dress code is British and the entrance fee is 20 euro, which will include a complimentary beverage. There is also free entrance for children under 12 and VIP tables can be obtained by reservation. This is indisputably an event that should not be missed.
