The London Olympics Games have started and have the athletes and actors. Among these are outstanding athletes from the island of Jamaica, with the fastest men and women of the world, hoping to win medals in these games of 2012.

Jamaica participates in this edition of the Olympic Games with 50 athletes, 47 of which compete in athletics, one swimming, one in taekwondo and one in equestrian. Where athletics is most striking, considering as the sprint factory of the Caribbean and have more elite runners per capita than any other country.

The name most sounds to get the medal is Usain Bolt, who hopes to repeat the success of the Beijing Olympics that ended with a gold medal and world record in the 100 and 200 meter dash, plus the short relay. But there's more, as the record holder of world record holder in the 100 meter dash with a mark of 9.58 seconds. And in the 200 meter dash, stopped the clock at 19.30 seconds.

Coinciding with the 50th anniversary of Independence of Jamaica, London will be a party to the island to place the "Jamaica House" at The O2 Arena in the town of Thames, from 3 to 12 August.
