Prada Infusions: Ephemeral and Desired
Beauty 16/03/2010
Collectors await them. Followers sit waiting with bated breath. Prada has again caused quite a stir with two new limited edition "Infusions"; unique and acutely original.
The Tuberose Infusion possesses unquestionably feminine hues, and the Vetiver Infusion, while distinctly masculine, harbours hints that could be deemed unisex.
The Tuberose infusion is a blend of Indian tuberose, petitgrain bigarade, Italian blood orange and dynamome. In the Vetiver infusion for men, the ingredient that lends the mixture its name is highlighted by hints of tarragon, Madagascan pepper and purple ginger.
Large-size luxury
The vials containing both fragrances are made from crystal, like the other scents that comprise the Infusion collection, and recall designs unique to vintage perfume vials. Its casing comes inspired in the floral and geometric patterns stored in Prada's archives. Both fragrances come in 50ml, 100ml and 200ml bottles, along with the large-size 400ml "Splash". The latter comes complete with a Prada funnel and a refillable 30m vial, perfect for travel bags. Thus you'll never have to be far from your fragrance. The Tuberose Infusion line is complemented by 980ml of perfumed shower gel and a 250ml bottle of hydrating body lotion; the Vetiver Infusion comes with a 980ml bottle of perfumed shower gel.
