"The September Issue", a documentary on Anna Wintour and Vogue, Arrives on DVD

"The September Issue" introduces us to the fascinating world of fashion magazines from the hand of the filmmaker RJ Cutler. Portrays and reveals almost all the secrets of the expected September 2007 issue of Vogue magazine's successful "directed by Anna Wintour-starring the actress, model and fashion designer-British Sienna Miller which also uncover some mysteries about the personality of one of the most powerful and influential figures of the fashion world as Anna Wintour. Thanks to the documentary, we will have the opportunity to see on screen, though in the background, key figures of modern fashion as Oscar de la Renta, Karl Lagerfeld, Gaultier, Stefano Pilati, Nicolas Ghesquiere, Isabel Toledo and Philip Lim.

In addition to the DVD-released by Avalon producer - also contains an exclusive 64-page booklet with a foreword prepared by the famous shoe designer Manolo Blahnik and the editor of Vogue Spain Yolanda Sacristanand text of 14 Spanish designers about their vision of Anna Wintour. It also includes figurines of each of their contributions illustrated by Clara Gomez, more than two hours of additional content with 95 minutes of unedited footage of Anna Wintour and Grace Coddington, creative director of American Vogue and Wintour's right hand, "photographs of the shooting, an interview with the designers and Mary Alma Aguilar Escoté will say something about the influences of Vogue in its proposals and a portrait of the everyday life of the shooting filmed by Bob Richman, cinematographer of the documentary.

"The September Issue, on sale at a price of € 14.95, won the Best Documentary Award at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival-an international film festival held annually in the United States.
