The Salo de l'Ensenyament celebrates its 21th edition

One of the most important events in the world of education is back. The Saló del l'Ensenyament (Teaching Fair) returns to satisfy the demands for information and orientation voiced by the over 70,000 annual attendees who aim to further their training. The event will be held from March 17 to 21, 2010, in Barcelona's Montjuic fairgrounds.

The Saló de l'Ensenyament is one of Catalonia's lynchpin educational meeting points. It provides personalised advice for students who are finishing secondary school and pre-university students with questions regarding their academic and professional future. It falls within the framework of the Fira de Barcelona's Training and Work Week, which attracts more than 175 secondary education centres, grammar schools, vocational centres, universities, superior studies centres, occupational training centres, language schools and educational services. This selection will be complemented by the Languages Abroad Fair, the scientific area entitled Research in Action and the multi-media promotion area.

Furthermore, the Departament d'Innovació, Universitats i Empresa (Department of Innovation, Universities and Business) will be there to resolve any doubts regarding entry exams, the Bologna Plan, scholarships and university financial aid, along with the selection of available degrees and official Master's for the 2010/2011 academic year.

The Fair's visitors are generally young students, university students, professionals and entrepreneurs interested in acquiring information on the distinct options available in training, broadening studies and professional orientation.

Other fairs are being held to coincide with the Saló de l'Ensenyament. These include Futura, designed especially for university graduates and professionals interested in Master's or post-graduate degrees, the Fòrum del Treball (Employment Forum) for those looking for work and Expoelearning.

The Saló de l'Ensenyament is organised by the Fira de Barcelona and coordinated by the Generalitat of Catalonia's Departments of Education and Innovation, Universities and Businesses.
