The facility was inaugurated by the Russian ambassador to Spain, Mr. Alexander Kuznetsov, who was on official tour of the principality of Andorra. During the ceremony, the diplomat was accompanied by the Honorary Consul of Russia in Spain, Pere Joan Tomas, and the mayors of La Massana Raul Baro and David Ferré.
The signing of sparkling Cliquot Veuve has more than two centuries of history, since it was founded in 1772 by Philippe Clicquot, and enlarged by his widow by a privileged corporate vision. Madame Cliquot increased land and began exporting wines produced from 1814, which is precisely Russia's first foreign market the coveted champagne.
