The clothing collection inspired by the creative universe of Cirque du Soleil has performed at the Tapis Rouge tent Corteo Show in Barcelona. And is that the world's most luxurious circus has partnered with the Catalan company Desigual to create a collection of clothing and accessories for men, women and children, which is characterized by joy, color, emotion and prints inspired by the fantasy world Canadian circus. Marie-Josée Lamy (Senior Director, Merchandising and Licensing of Cirque du Soleil) and Cabanas Ana (Global Marketing and Communications Director at Desigual) have discussed the collection and covenant that unites the worlds of art, entertainment and design.
The collection consists of 60 hand crafted models, explores the creative universe of the various shows in the company. With this collaboration, Desigual name space associated with the imaginary, magic and dreams. The collaboration between Cirque du Soleil and Desiguall is the result of the high affinity between the creative worlds of both brands, but the uniqueness of this collection consists of an elitist kind of signature: each garment incorporates a small piece of this universe circus, a scrap of cloth from one of the costumes of the very Cirque du Soleil. They only need to number the items to highlight that it is a limited edition!
In his work of creation, inspired by colors and patterns to create a collection that is divided into three lines representing the imagination of Cirque du Soleil:
Costumes inspired models of the shows, with a concept multipluralista. Clothing plays, with many details and bold prints.
Troupe reflects the team spirit, recovering very popular color in the world of the circus: the white, red and black. The prints are imbued with different sets of performances. Some parts are painted by hand, and small touches of gold, blue or red in these models are harmonized so personalized.
Human Expressions, like the Cirque du Soleil, is a clever combination of elegance and sexy drama. These models really lush for its embroidery, sequins detail and highlighted with silver accents, recapture the excitement of the shows, feeling that also convey expressions faces and clothing combined to arouse strong emotions.
Clothing prices range from 70 euros from 250 euros shirts and wraps.
