The dancer, choreographer and teacher of Terrassa Angels Margarit receives National Dance Award for his more than thirty years of dedication to the world of dance Contemporani.
Margarit commented that he was "very pleased and grateful" because this award comes at a very special moment, as she and her company have filed for over a year and a half a retrospective project.
Margarit angles belongs to the first classes of dancers from the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona, runs one of the dance compañis Contemporanean most successful in the National picture, Mudances.
Has been innovating and creating pieces of Videodanza Boqueria and creators involved in Improvising with the likes of Andrew Corcoran, Maria Munoz and Alexis Eupierre.
As an educator he has taught courses and workshops in several countries.
The National Dance Prize is awarded annually by the Ministry of Culture and the jury is chaired by Felix Palomero INAEM director and his deputy Antonio Garde as well as other distinguished personalities of culture and Pep Ramis, Lola Greco, Manuel Llanes and fellow dancer Omar Khan.
